State Specified Minimum Standards
- A High School diploma
- A valid driver’s license
- The ability to read, write and communicate in English
- The ability to pass all background checks, including fingerprinting and CARI checks
- A passing grade for the mandatory training bundle, also known as the Prevention of Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation (PANE) courses and their practicums – Danielle’s Law and Stephen Komninos’ Law, with an annual recertification of all practicums
- A passing grade for Medication Management and practicum with annual recertification of the practicum
- CPR AED and First Aid with practicum from an approved course provider and annual recertification of the practicum
